Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld

Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld
Genre: Young Adult – SciFi
Our Rating: 4.5/5

I would like to rate 3.5/5 for the cover of the book Leviathan, it gives a historical vibe. Simple and insanely emits vibes of battlefields and played the best part in making me choose this book to read.

The title sounds pretty spot-on and I honestly thought the book is filled with mere war and actions or so, but it’s not! I would rate the title a 4.5/5.

The plot revolves around World War 1 and is a perfect mix of reality and fantasy. Scott Westerfeld has penned witty in such a way that the content sounds in a positive way through the story is based on a bad life and negative vibes.

I loved the way how the author has penned the historical spin-off in a very realistic manner. Much wit, I would say. The author has carried the main character very well and has made sure that the character is fully developed. The best part is that the author has the ability to unfold plots in a very perfect way with no crease.

The language employed is very simple and therefore, it is to follow, with not much need for a dictionary. Personally, I loved the entire book and in a spree to search for more books by the author.

Verdict

For me, the book is 4.5/5 and I recommend it to all history lovers!
