I would like to rate the cover of the book 3/5 for its incredibly vintage-ish historical vibe which kind of throws back to the childhood days for most adults and definitely reminds of historical lessons during school days, haha, I would say. As far as the combined understanding of the title Eagles Over Berlin and a cover of the book, it gives an overall a patriotic feeling and I like it; would rate the combination as 4.5/5.
I don’t want to be a spoiler and all I want to say is that this is one epic love story and I loved it thoroughly! The overall flow of the book is damn good and I completed in less than 10 days. It has fully developed characters.
The author narrates a story of the cold war that took place in 1948. The protagonists meet during this time and fall in love. It is a story of their separation and reunion after 40 years when the great wall of Berlin is taken down. This is when they understand the true meaning of their life.
Verdict
Speaking of the overall book, I would like to rate the novel a whopping 3.5/5 and would recommend for all age groups!
